Founder/Facilitator

Belinda Baillie (MMC)

Belinda is the course creator and the head and heart of Global Coaching Academy.

She has been working with people in a mentoring and coaching capacity for over 30 years, formalising this into a career around 15 years ago.

Her passion is creating - whether it be artwork, courses or well-rounded mentors and coaches - Belinda immerses herself in bringing her best to her clients, students and artworks alike so that they shine and bring more love, hope and joy to the world.

Belinda has formal qualifications in education, (a Grad Dip) as well as being a Master Certified Coach, artist, actor, agriculturalist (yes, really!) and many other odd bits and pieces which all weave together to bring a unique skill set to her career.

Facilitator

Jay Birch

Jay is a trainer, facilitator, mentor, life coach, and holistic counsellor who genuinely loves all things to do with sharing joy and bringing healing and transformation to the world. Enthusiastic about helping people unlock the potential of their own hearts, Jay has worked for the last 10 years in various roles facilitating, teaching, mentoring, coaching and wellbeing support.

As the founder of “New Men Arising” Jay is also heavily engaged in facilitating men’s personal spiritual growth circles. His passion is to foster raising the consciousness of men and facilitating growth in a new, more sustainable and whole way. Assisting and encouraging men to become deeply present with self and undergo an exploration into who they truly are.

His lived experience in the University of Life combines beautifully with his formal training in conflict resolution, anger management, holistic counselling, coaching, mentoring, and facilitation. He is well-placed to support a wide range of individuals seeking to learn skills for making the world a better place.

Facilitator

Cat Cronin

Cat Cronin is a seasoned and fully certified mentor, life coach, and interpersonal facilitator, a trauma informed wellbeing coach, & the Founder of "The Art of Alchemy", delivering conscious creativity, self mastery, self esteem and wellbeing learning programs where they make the most impact.   With over 20 years experience mentoring and coaching, Cat works deeply with trauma sensitivity, somatic healing, transformation and conscious creativity, working in London and around Europe engaging Elite athletes, Creatives, Artists, medical professionals, and healers as her clients, and encouraging them to shine brightly and actualise their fullest potential.

Cat brings a playful curiosity to self-discovery, wellbeing, transformation and empowerment of the spirit by creating a safe space where making mistakes, feeling messy, not yet knowing, and the courage to just give it a go are celebrated. Cat is an accomplished internationally exhibiting artist, facilitator and keynote speaker of Hope and Resilience, sharing her experiences of navigating recovery from a life changing car crash, traversing tricky terrain with trauma and sharing her experience of what it takes to grow from a doormat to dynamite.

Cat's favourite quote is, "Be the light, so others can see in the dark", and she endeavors to make her life a living example.

Supervision

Claire Newman

Claire is a fully qualified and registered Clinical Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Teacher, Life Coach and Mentor who has been working in clinical practice since 2012 and private practice since 2007. She started her career in the Mental Health sector, having worked in brain injury rehab, drug and alcohol rehab; eating disorder rehab; forensic units and ICU; community homes and adolescents with challenging behaviour. Claire participated in the very first intake for the Global Coaching Academy’s Life Coaching and Mentoring course many years ago, which opened a doorway for ongoing professional development to support people with deep psychological change and transformation.

She provides clinical supervision for fellow professionals and organisations, overseeing safe and ethical practice while holding the space for mutual curiosity and deep reflection. Claire champions both continuing professional development (CPD) and personal development as the foundational key to raise the bar within the ‘helping’ industries, in service of the people we work with. Thus, she continuously upskills and offers this learning in various CPD courses and workshops.
